Jigarthanda - what to say more than this?

When i was watching this film, there was a couple next to me where they enjoyed the film like anything with claps and whistles (ofcourse everybody did). On seeing him after the movie, he was very much excited and easily able to get how much he liked the movie. Later i left and took my bike and stopped at a signal, 2 km away from theatre. There the same couple came and stopped next to me for signal. That guy was still talking to her in excited mode about the movie and happened to hear a  snippet from his talk.

"Padam semaya irukku ya, ithuvaraikum naan fb status-la padatha pathilaam pottathey ila, ana innaki night namba rendu perum senthu podalaam. Chumma vazha vazha kozha kozha nu laam ilukka vendam, nachhunu 2 varila podalaam.. i enjoyed each and every scene from the start to end like that etc etc podalaam"

Signal got green and we left. This film makes everyone to write and its real success of Subbu.

Is this happening only to ME?

23rd May, Friday 5 PM. My Bro Arjun came to chennai for a work and he was about to boarding in KPN at 9:30 PM from koyambedu. I planned to give a send off by taking him and his uncle Babu from Guindy station to koyambedu. I called him and asked to come to Guindy station by 8:30 PM. He said he will checkout room by 8 itself. 

I started from office by 7 PM in my car and went to a Gift shop and bought for him a drawing kit as he is a Designer. I reached Guindy station at 8:15 PM. when i called he said he was in T-nagar station and waiting for the train. As it is just 5 mins from t-ngr, i thought he will reach on time.  There the twist. Train didnt come for more than half hour in T-nagar. I called him again 8:45 and he said "Anna train innum varalanaaa...". Shocked and asked him to enquire at station and then after 5 mins he called me again and said that train will come only by 9:10. I shouted him that he didnt start early and said him that he will surely miss the bus. I asked to call KPN and enquire about the timings and next boarding points. He said he was calling KPN office repeatedly and said busy always.

At last, train came and he reached guindy by 9:20 PM. Only 10 mins more for the bus and for sure i know that we will not catch bus since it will take min 30 mins to reach there. I greeted him out of angry and then we started immediately and rushed to koyambedu. Thank god that day no traffic in road. while crossing Kasi theatre guindy, a BIG crowed gathered at the road as it was the kochadaiiyaan day. Reached vadapalani by 9:45 PM. His uncle Babu was keep on trying the KPN number and he was saying that immediately a voice saying "Thanngal azhaitha number busy aga ullathal sirithu nerathukku piragu thodarbu kollavum.. ". He got irritated and shouted like what the hell they were doing with the phone, to whom they were talking this much time etc etc. Arjun commented silently "Ithu room la thoongittu irunthapave yosichirukanum..". Actually both slept for hours in the room and missed timing and his uncle did too much like while arjun woke him up, he was saying "time irukku da, poikallam"..

Finally we reached Koyembedu at 10:00 PM. As i visited there after long time, i knew i should take a left turn to reach OMNI bus stand but out of confusion and tension, i entered the main bus stand entrance.. ooops.. then a U-turn and made the correct left turn.. There so much of rush and all buses in queue, coming out of bus-stand very slowly.. suddenly we saw a KPN in the opposite side and i told them to get down and ask about the KPN they should go.. They got down, out of tension he didnt forget to say a sweet BYE & lot of thanks.. They rushed and enquired about that KPN bus to the driver..

Mean time, i went straight and took a U turn and was on the way to entrance again.. Full of tension and i called him 2 times, he didnt pick.. Later got a call from him and he said that the driver told that the KPN they should board was coming behind.. i told them to go to the right KPN stall and enquire.. As they are new to OMNI bus stand, they confused how to reach there and enquired people around there and went to that stall... while asking whether that KPN left alredy, that guy softly replied that the bus is standing behind and asked to board.. OOOPS.. it was 10:30 PM they boarded into the bus..  Later he called me and explained all these things and laughed out loudly.. i shouted like anything that they didnt start early..

Then i slowly started out from there and got a shock like there was hell out of queue standing.. just moved inch by inch and reached home by 11:30 PM... Then one of my friend called me and said there was a strike at thirumaalpur station and thats the delay for electric train.. We always think why these things happen to me alone.. not at all, its always happen to all in one or another way..

KOCHADAIIYAAN - FAQ

Finally its released with so many struggles and long wait. Now wherever you turn, a review on Kochadaiiyaan will pop up. so many critics, analysis, expectations, questions, negatives etc. one who read all these sure he never go to any movies. so what to do? Is all these critics saying the right thing? or just throwing words to get attention? Go & watch & realise. 

After watching the movie & all the reviews, managed to answer few.. Usual paragraph review? No, let me try something new as FAQ.

1. After so much talk about the new technology "Motion Capture", how it turned up in the movie?
 Really a new experience in watching our famous film artists in a new avatar with same pose, motion, tone. Good thing is even we can bring back artist who are no more and still it gives you the feel of their real presence. As it is a trial attempt, a lot more improvements are needed in all aspects of the structure in future versions. There is no doubt, films will get used to this technology and can be used in a better way.

2. Is too much songs dumped in this 110 mins movie?
 They clearly said more importance will be given to music in this musical film already.Songs were outstanding and top of the charts already. So obviously songs will come frequently and also to accomodate all 8 songs + 1 theme. If you are hearing the songs first time while watching, you may feel too much of songs otherwise songs were top notch to hear and feel with excellant music from Rahman. 

3. 'Motion capture' Characterisation suited for all artists?
 Out of all, Rajni capture exactly matches in all aspects except facial expressions & bending of legs. Next is nasser who has more screen presence fits perfect with the capture. Aathi, shobana, nagesh too nice to look. Others(sarath, deepika, rukmani) are decent enough, still needs improvements.  

4. Rajni's walk not fast enough?
 Not at all. It is as needed and exact to reality. All his mannerism are captured well and showed perfectly. May be they have seen the slow motion.

5. 3D?
 3D is very limited and also it doesnt come up well in most scenes. Cant able to see the detailing of each frame in 3D. U can see colour glitter here and there and while lead artist walking, it seems like a second person is also walking behind them. First 10 mins have spectacular 3D that too the intro caption of Super Star come up very well in 3D. 'Rudra Thandavam’ and Dog fight were very nice in 3D. Most of the breath taking scenes are slow motion sequence so it will be good even if you watch in 2D.

6. How is music?
 One of the Rahman's Best. Be it songs, Be it BGM, Be it theme all no words to express. Music is one of the main reason where you will not even see negatives and it takes the animation sequence to a greater extend. BGM used in war & fight sequence are special mention to say. Songs already bumper hit. All numbers are unique in their own way. Music lift the movie to next level.

7. How about song picturaisation & visuals?
 Amazing in one word. Usually in real cinema you need to put effort to shoot in a beautiful location for good visuals. Here your creative imagination is what become the visuals. They passed here with flying colors. Specially 'Methuvaagathaan' song locations are too good. In 'Rudra Thandavam’, camera dances well with the music.  

8. Is Brightness in the film very low?
 Yes. That too when you watch with 3D glass it even goes dim. This is being reported in the trailer itself and thought it could have been corrected but still same. In few scenes post interval, even the color went down and more contrast prevailed. 

9. Any Vow moments?
 A lot to list out. Rajni Caption, Rajni Intro, white peacock dance, Deepika action sequence, Rudra Thandavam, Fight sequence at ship, shobana & Rajni bharathanaatiyam, Dog fight, Climax action.

10. How Nagesh apperance come up?
 By seeing him again, sure all his classic moments will flash into our mind. Dubbing and his movements are well done. Thanks to this technology to bring him back with the same charm & dialogue delivery. 

11. Is animation that much bad?
 Sometimes in films, even the glitches we will not notice except to the critic eyes. But here everybody can find out a glitch in most scenes. That too 3D version will uplift the poor animation at times. As it is a epic film, horses are the ones which comes front in most scenes where their leg movements are very poor to say in this. You can say a lot like this but these faults are overwhelmed by other items in the film is the fact.

12. Is first half slow n dragging?
 Not at all. First half and Second half are having their own special things. First half: Intro of all characters, nagesh, songs. Second half: Screenplay, rajni punch, action, kochadaiiyaan flashback, climax action, rudra thandavam.

13. Is Rajni movie's expectations satisfied?
 Out an out its a clear Rajni Movie with all his film elements in a new dimenstion. A Grand intro, artful songs visuals, Punch dialogues, Breath taking action sequence, Great Music & BGM, 3D.  what still you need for a Rajni movie?

14. What remains in mind after coming out from theatre?
 Music, Rajni, Punch, Visuals and finally looking for a time to watch one more time

15. What for final words about this attempt?
 You can arrange a debate on the pros n cons of the movie. So equally points are there to speak on each side. Positive points overwhelmed the other side is the fact. Sure to be watched only on theatres repeatedly.

Maryan - Experience with my GANG :)

Bharathbala-Rahman-Dhanush this combo enough to have expectation on this movie. I was waiting for the release date to see the magic on screen first day. Sharavana called a week before and said movie is getting released in Auro 3D and said to book for that at any case. Wednesday night booking will start usually at sathyam cinemas. Tuesday night, remembered to book but out of tiredness slept early :(

Wednesday morning 7'o clock, got up and checked website. Auro 3D screens fully in red and other sathyam screens full except S2. Decided to go for S2 finally as i dont want to miss this on first day. Started calling the gang for confirmation.

7:45 AM called sharavana, he asked to book seats beyond screen. Next called anand, he was sleeping and said hello in a low voice and once i said movie booking, he said in a loudly ok ok. He confirmed kannan n pondy too would come and asked to call radha. Called radha and he said yes and asked to wait for a min that he will call jith to get confirm. 8:00AM, already S2 getting booked row by row and i saw seats only at 4th row and that too getting booked at every refresh. Got a conf call from radha n jith and they confirmed too. Then called ravish and finally booked 8 tickets. 

We missed BV as he had a family function on friday. Thursday, BV felt that he would miss to join and afternoon he said he going to come as his function cancelled. Checked the layout again and there a seat before 10 rows from where we booked. Still he asked to book as he thought like atleast all can go together. Booked a single ticket. But time not good for him as he said again at afternoon that his function scheduled again :( Later we called sundar to join in place of BV.

Friday came. As there was rain in the eve of thursday, i thought of to go theatre before rain come. Unfortunatly rain started at 3 itself. I worried to indira about raining and she laughed at me as there was still 4 hrs there for the film. Rain didnt stop till 5. Ravish msged me heavy rain to irritate me. At 5 30 Jith started in his car with pondy,kannan and sundar. Radha started to his room to come directly to theatre. I planned to start after 15 min. Kannen called me in middle and asked to take service road as there was heavy traffic in tharamani signal. Myself and ravish started in bike and called anand about the short route. I reached theatre in 10 mins then radha and anand too joined there. At 6:15 sharavana came with his usual costume and jith & co too joined. Now the problem is whos going to sit in tat bv place as it is 10 rows beyond. Anand volunteered to sit there :) we all settled in seat with thalaivaa trailer. Myself with ravish n sharavana aside.

Film started. Brilliant Camera work and scintillating rahman music overwhelmed other things. Sharavana didnt like the movie from starting, this is expected as he never like slow paced romance and only like mass subjects. Ravish actually feared on seeing that villain and saw me whenever he came on screen. After long wait(it seemed like that) interval came. Gathered at reception with radha favourite pop-corn,hog-dog, puffs. Jith remained in queue and offered me cold coffee. I said hot coffee. After a long chat we Went back and settled. After some 10mins jith remembered my hot coffee and he passed through, it came to my hand. 

Movie went in different track, hostage, dry area, misplaced songs. As climax came, ravish lost the grip and started laughing for everything. One last song(top of the album), Nenje ellu still to come. As it is a modern paced song, thought of how that would fit in that situation. Song started like anything as a dream sequence(no way it has to be placed there). Ravish laughed out and started making rocket with tissue. Myself and sharavana started talking. I shocked when sea came into desert and movie ended with usual tamil cinema climax. Just thought, all good ingredients are there like bharatbala, rahman, dhanush, brillient camera, acting etc but still something was missing and didnt get into compromise with this movie.

A day at my WORK

Still remember the days of CQ upgradation version 7.0.1.8. Late night, with my co-worker and while doing the error message of gskbat and then we solved that with IBM..good memories.. After i left company and joined back, again a big upgradation.. Where she handled alone with the same upgradation and it failed and IBM too cant able to help at that moment and they didnt find the root cause of the issue too.. Again the same upgradation and surely knew issue would come. IBM too ready to attack when issue pops up and they agreed to have a p1 ticket for upgradation that means round the clock support until the issue get resolved. All teams involved like oracle to take backup of DB and unix team to take backup of file system and fallback mechanism if in case upgrade failed. All ready and the day has finally came. 

We decided to start the activity by 7. We fixed time by 10PM and i slept early and set alarm for 5:30AM. i got up at 12:30 AM thought of time up and for every 1 hr i got up and checked. Atleast i slept but this girl didnt even sleep for whole night. DB team completed the backup on time. Unix team not yet confirmed the backup. She sent a remainder by 4 30 AM. No response. Called the helpline and tracked. At last they sent a mail by 5:30AM. 

I took bath, had tea and started by 6 30AM. I knew for sure, out of work, cant able to take breakfast. So thought of to buy good day biscuit near by office but no shops opened by that time. Parked vehicle and walked to lift, there she also entered at same time. Both went in to start the process. There only she said she didnt sleep for whole night and vomitted too for having mango late night. Naughty girl, she usually do like this. In spite of cold, she came with head bath.

At 7 AM, we started shutting down the application and started uninstallation of existing version. Uninstall finished at 8 and then we started the installation of base version and that finished by 9 30. Then the next step of applying patch is the one which failed last time. In test server that goes for 1 1/2 hrs. So we decided to put that patch and wait with fingers crossed for 1.30 hrs. we executed command and went for a coffee break to canteen. Took boost and back to seat to watch in parallel.

After some half hr, command finished with no error. YES patch upgraded successfully in short time. Excited and happy, shouted :)

Started testing for some half hr. Actually we planned a lot to do if patch upgraded successfully. But out of lazy we simply passed time. At 1 30 we started for lunch. Went to saravana bhavan near by. She said that she cant take anything except juice. I too thought of to take light. we ordered 2 butter naan + panner gravey + 1 lemon juice and 1 coffee. At 2 30 we back to seat and did some post upgrade work. At last we found a bug too and fixed. she fully fainted out of tiredness. we decided to leave.

At 4 30 started from office and dropped her at near by signal. After a long time this upgrade made me remember the past work.

Making of Sura Fish Puttu

 Its a long time that i made a dish in my home. Started the day with no more plan. Decided to try something, and sura fish strike immediately since i was thinking to do sura puttu several time before but missed. Went to fish market with dad and got 1kg of PAL SURA fish. Opened you tube and saw a video of how to make it and then started preparing. Its a simple and easy dish that can be prepared with very less oil compared to the indian fish fry recipes. Decided to take snap of everything on making. Mummy too supported on taking pic :)

First got ready with all ingredients. Here goes the list

Next took fish and cut into small pieces and boiled in water with turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste and salt for 10 mins.

After that, take out the fish, filter water and remove outer cover and bones. Sura speciality is you dont need to worry about fish bones, only one will be at centre, thats it. Thts why this fish is special to make puttu easier.

Now scramble the fish into small small pieces. Take a kadai and heat the pieces for some time to make it dry.

Now take a pan to make the dish. Add required oil and put Aniseed(sombu). After that put the chopped onions and fry till you get golden brown. while frying add chopped chilly and ginger garlic paste.

 My mom preparing rasam in next pan, dont look at it :)


After that, add goriander leaves and then add salt, turmeric and chilly powder.

Fry a little and then add fish to it..

Fry well so that it will not stick in pan. Add chopped coconut and pepper powder. 

Thats all, delicious Fish puttu is ready to eat.

How is it????

KADAL - Asok's View

Usually maniratnam movie plot will be known earlier a bit but this time completely not known a single bit of what the story about.. Ofcourse its a kadal backdrops peoples story, all expected it could be something similar to "Neerparavai" but its not.

Whatever story line, as am a maniratnam movie freak,i went for the first day show without knowing how it could be.. Usually in his movie the frame will be very polish, even an ordinary shot will look very beautiful in his movie camera, Rahman songs and BGM, lead pair, cinematography etc. In this movie too you will get all these flavours as usual. what else you want then?

First shot.. A maniratnam movie.... full whistle in theatre.. Introduction of two giant character of the movie at very first shot..Arvind swamy after 10-15 yrs, bulgy but same expressions, eyes and smile :) 

Maniratnam previous movies usually will be a remaking of any epic stories or some big personalities life story or some already known plot. But this time a completely new one. Its about faith, good and evil and christian belief. Arjun refers himself as satan and the act of converting others to it. Aravind as opposite of God's way of love. Who will win in this fight and gowtham & thulasi's  love and how they come out of it, gowthan in whos side?? its all KADAL...

CAMERA work, toooo good. Specially on songs. Need to write a separate view on songs alone.. Moongil thottam, Nenjukulle, Adiye songs are for visual treat.. These songs are taken in the exact same location with different camera angle.. I thought like Nenjulle will be like a background theme song but 2-3 stansas will come as a romantic bit. Camera angle on sea is splendid..

SONGS.. No words.. Usually rahmans magic will be known after hearing songs 2/3 times.. On hearing these songs first, i thought like how come these songs will fit for this village backdrops.. But after seeings visuals and songs, exactly fit it. Moongil thottam is natures beauty song. 

Introducing Gowtham and Thulasi.. New bees did well.. Their dialogue delivery and their expression made us laugh in most scenes. Specially thulasi's smile, everybody in theatre whistled.. Her white dress in all scenes is like an angel look..Arjun and aravind fit for the role and their performances too good...

So finally, what all you expect in mani's movie, you will get all.. First half bit slow, not engaging us to go over(like standing at sea shore) and second half full speed (like in the middle of sea)..

Twitter/FB/Text addiction now causes worry

This is about the views of a TOI article on 3/1 and made me realize something either good or bad, i want to share that.. Article title: "Twitter addiction now causes worry". They said about the tweeting addiction of each and every moment of activity and it becomes a usual habit for most and the worst thing is they didnt aware of what they doing. This suits very well for facebook/orkut and other social networking sites.


Saying each and every moment like "Am in pizza hut and ordered fiery chicken pizza and waiting in table no.1" , "am in the middle of this movie", "About monday morning and friday weekend mood" etc etc

Article explained all the views about this. Mostly get addicted to this and they casually do this as a habit. But the real thing is they not enjoying that moment of activity rather than they keen on typing that and updating in the sites. They always live in a imaginary world and expect others to focus/to attract attention. And the height of kind is, "Today something am expecting to happen" or "My fingers crossed for the result" etc. They will not tell what going to happen but they expect others to ask them what is it and finally somebody will tell or mostly keep silence. One more reason they say is if they tell about what going to happen, then sentimentally they feel that the result will not be positive.. then why they have to give a confused heads-up before.. they will not say what it is and in spite they need attention too by asking what is it.. what really they expect???

Its really a kind of addiction and one day they will get bored and they will realize what they doing... knowingly or unknowingly most of them doing this kind..

Article explain the positive side of that too like those who be shy to talk infront of the stage, may use this platform effectively to improvise them. And somebody's creative jokes and idea sharing really help many or to get time pass atleast.

Whatever, this status is not to say anything bad about or good or to blame anyone, but just to say what we are all doing...

The HOBBIT: Dolby Atmos treatment

 

Finally much awaited DOLBY ATMOS has come to chennai theatre and got a chance to see HOBBIT movie on it. Got ticket and seated to my B12 seat at Sathyam(Escape) STREAK screen.Film about to start. Just counted the speakers, yes its really 64 speakers inside. Top 2 rows of 11, left and right side 11, 2 BIG woofers at each corner, 8 speakers at back and 10 speakers behind screen.

3D ATMOS Demo sound... Sound from top of our head really a new experience, too good...

Film started with usual male voice telling the history of mankind and slowly into the hobbit story.. Movie is spl for its imaginary places that you cant imagine itself and you will get confuse which is graphics and real one...After some 15 min around, there a scene inside hobbit home with all BIG fellow mans conversation, really bored and dragged too much, really got the feel of what is this movie like documentary..  

Then started the roller coaster ride of actions & adventures.. Awesome sound effects

Thunder storm
Dragon fire
BIG monster fights
Roller coaster fights
stone man fights
Tree at mountain edge fights
Eagle sequence
climax

In all these scenes, you will automatically come to the edge of the seat and sometimes throw me back to seat when knift rod come before your eyes :)

Ring showing scene, awesome.. in slow motion, the ring which come out from small monster man and the base sound in slow sync too good

Killing the dragon is the final touch i thought but after 3 hours of actions, still dragon didnt come... At the end, they showed the Dragon eye for next part :)

MUST watch movie for adventures, nature, actions, sound effects, 3D.

A walkthrough of my kodaikanal trip

Planned a month before for this trip with my sister family. Initially i thought a lot, whether to go for this since when i think of kodaikanal, the only thing come to my mind is just that lake, park and some view points as i already went at my early stages. Finally i decided to go to enjoy time with my sister family. Now am thinking like, "thank god i didn't miss this trip" :)


As my sister working in postal, she got govt provided cottages to stay which is decent enough. We booked a month before for Rs.5 per day :)
                                      


We(myself,sister,uncle n little boy girish) started from trichy on friday morning 13th july'12 6:30AM. Reached vathalakundu at 11 and from there hill area. At ground level, its very dry and on going up, slowly cool air started blowing. But there is no hair bin bend in the path and only ups and downs of lots of hills. on going itself we can able to see spectacular view points.

We reached kodaikanal at 12:30. Checked into the room and got refreshed and straight to hotel "HILL TOP" which is the only famous non-veg restaurent in kodaikanal. Came again to room and took rest. Rain started and lasted upto 1 hr.

we came out at 4:30 and started our first place "coakers-walk" which is a famous walk-way there for about 2km  around a hill surrounded with view points.

Finished that at 6:30 and started shopping near-by and came to a veg restaurent "Astoria" which is the only famous one for veg there. we came out and booked a travel for next day trip. There are some packages available like Kodai full day sight seeing, Village tour, Forest tour. we decided not to take the usual sight seeing this time and took forest trip and local trip combo. They charged 1300 + 200 for guide. Specially for this forest trip we need to get approval from forest dept and they will allow inside only 20 vehicles per day. Guide explained all this very neatly and he said its a reserved forest and they keep it very clean and secure
and all this to make way for next generation peoples. Weekly one day, they will close this forest trip and fully clean the path ways and other maintenance stuffs.


Guide said that this is the right time to visit kodaikanal since at season time we never get entry to forest and lots of crowed will be there at each points. Now even its rainy season(june-aug), there are some crowed at each point which is OK that we got enough privacy and free to see each points.


First point, we went to silent valley which is actually a view point. Guide know where to go and view, since in the actual place for this view point if you go, you cant able to see any view as it is always covered fully with snow. But these guides know very well where to see actually. He let us in a side way and walked a bit ahead inside and there comes a end of the hill and there is nothing for support to stand there. we stopped a feet before and there a panoramic view but fully covered with snow and doesnt able to see the real height. Guide said to wait for 10 mins and some mins later, snow slowly cleared and we saw a breathtaking view with steep depth and couldnt able to imagine that much deep. From there guide pointed out a village too and there still adivasi peoples living and they visit river banks rarely.

Next we travelled some km and reached "Fire tower" which is actually a old tower(not in use) that forest dept people use to go to the top to see if any fire in forest. we spent little time there and started to next place.


"Berijam lake view". This is a long top view of beijam lake which is located inside the forest. They constructed a small tower and we can able to see the full view of the lake from top angle. There a little crowed since its a very good place to take snaps.

Next we went to "Cap's Fly Valley". Its located at the top of one hill and from there a way lead upto to the bottom of the hill. Specially at that hill top, there are lot of graviatational force which make way for this magic. If you throw any lighter objects like cap or kerchief, it will return back to us but we didnt try there.

Next we started to a very dangerous place "Mathikettan forest view". Before some 50 years, at british time, people went inside this forest and become mad. Thats because of some medicianl plants smell make our mind to mad state. After that nobody went inside and that forest is restricted for anyone. Even recent records are there about 25 years back that some people went mad who visitied inside this forest. On seeing that forest, it seems like an art work with coloured trees.

Next we visited the last point inside the forest "Berijam lake" which is very long landscape and a lake at middle. Animals from inside forest used to come to this lake to drink water. But we didnt see anyone at that time. There are quite some crowed at that lake area since its a place where we can relax ourselves in the landscape. we shoot some snaps there and started to leave forest.

Again we saw all places from inside the car on return and reached "Moier Point". At british time, a guy named (sorry forgot name) who discovered a way from TN border to kerala from inside that forest with his horse and for his rememberance they raised a pillar with his name and named that place as moier point.

Next we started the local usual site seeing and first we visited the "suicide point". Its fully covered with little snow and there a tree at the edge and we climbed that and took some snap. Thats the place where recent "Kalugu" film was taken (climax)

Then we visited "Pine forest" which is a very famous place with lot beautiful pine trees. we took lot snaps there and visited pillar rock, golf course, guna caves etc quickly and finished the trip at 3:30.
                                                 

                                     
                                     


We took some rest in room and started for lake at evening and had boating and local shopping there.

Next day morning, we started to "bryan park" which is the usual park at kodaikanal and spend some 2 hours there and finished our trip. we purchased a lot fruits, home made chocos, tea packs, red wine etc.

We started our return journey at 3:30 and reached trichy back at 9 and had a sound sleep with kodai dreams in mind.

Still a lot must see different places are there. Do a visit and enjoy a vacation there.
